Treatment Protocol
- 1
Load only one item per wash cycle. If the jacket is long and your machine capacity is small, use a professional dry cleaner or a laundromat.
- 2
Avoid washing garments that feature leather or faux leather inserts.
- 3
Check all pockets, zip up all zippers, and fasten all closures. Turn the garment inside out to prevent hardware from damaging the machine drum.
- 4
Remove the hood or the fur trim from the hood before washing.
- 5
Pre-treat heavily soiled areas manually using coconut-based laundry soap (such as Biomama, Spivak, or Kuban) or a universal gel stain remover (such as WONDER LAB, Dr. Beckmann, Lion, or Bagi). Scrub gently with a soft brush and always test for colorfastness in an inconspicuous area first.
- 6
Use a specialized detergent, such as WONDER LAB for sports/membrane clothing, Salton CleanTech, or a microfiber shampoo (e.g., Leraton or Shine Systems). Alternatively, use a universal laundry gel that does not contain optical brighteners.
- 7
Select a delicate wash mode such as "Down Comforter," "Bulky Items," "Delicate," or "Hand Wash."
- 8
Set the water temperature to 20-30°C.
- 9
Use the minimum spin speed or turn off the spin cycle entirely, following the manufacturer’s care label.
- 10
Dry the garment horizontally on a thick towel, turning it over periodically to ensure even drying.
- 11
Use a delicate cycle if drying in a tumble dryer.
