Old or Set-in Stains

Add 3 tablespoons of unscented vegetable oil to the solution.

Boil the garment in this solution over low heat for 15-30 minutes, stirring periodically.

Turn off the heat, stir once more, and leave the item in the solution until it cools completely (you may leave it overnight).

Wash the item in a washing machine as usual at 50°C or higher using an enzyme-based detergent to remove the oil residue.

Apply a stove cleaner like Azelit, Schumannit, or Unicum Gold to the stain and let it sit for a few minutes.

Scrub the area gently with a brush and rinse thoroughly under hot running water.

Repeat the treatment if necessary.

Wash the item in the washing machine using an enzyme-based detergent such as BiMax 100 pyaten, Attack BioEX, or Biomama concentrated powder.

- Always boil white and colored clothing separately. - The oil in the second method works because "like dissolves like."

Use the stove cleaner method (Azelit, Schumannit, or Unicum Gold) as it is effective even on old, set-in stains, including those on down jackets.
